Andy's childhood home in Chittenango had some stairstep cracks in the foundation wall. The home belonged to his late mother. Since it was time to sell the home, it was time to address the foundation problem. After learning about Woodford Brothers from a trusted friend, Andy called us to schedule his free estimate. Our Design Specialist, Tim, determined that the foundation damage was due to years of hydrostatic pressure pushing the wall in when the ground was saturated. Tim proposed PowerBraces to secure the wall permanently. Andy agreed it was the best solution, so the work was scheduled. The day of installation our team, led by Foreman Wayne, got straight to work and communicated their every move to Andy to keep him informed of the progress. They were clean and quick. In Alexandria Bay, NY, one homeowner faced the challenge of a musty, damp basement evident in the before photo. This was impacting their peace of mind and indoor air quality. We installed the reliable TripleSafe Sump Pump to handle high volumes of water and our high-efficiency SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to maintain optimal humidity levels. Catherine has been living in her Rodman, NY home for over 11 years. Within the past couple of years, he has been growing increasingly concerned over the structural integrity of the foundation as the stone foundation has been bowing in. Wanting to repair the issue before it led to foundation failure, Catherine decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. Following an inspection of the home our Design Specialist suggest the installation of our SmartJack and EverBrace systems. 

The SmartJack system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to the foundation. Once installed, SmartJack posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. Plus, due to its design, the SmartJack system can be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling if necessary. In turn, with EverBrace, steel corrugated panels and beams work together to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls. Rigid foam is then injected to fill any voids behind the steel panels, fully transferring the load from the failing structure to the new support panels.  With these systems in place, Catherine can rest assured that her home's foundation is permanently stabilized and no longer at risk for failure.
