In Syracuse, NY, a homeowner reached out to us at Woodford Bros., Inc. due to concerns about their compromised foundation. As seen in the before photo, the stress in the foundation posed a potential risk to the structural integrity of the home. To address this, we expertly installed the Carbon Armor system. Carbon Armor utilizes carbon fiber reinforced polymers that provide a non-invasive and permanent solution to stabilize the block foundation walls. As shown in the after photo, our intervention ensured lasting stability, preventing any further inward movement of the wall.

Jeanne has been living in her Syracuse, NY home for over 11 years. Several years ago, she began noticing issues with water in her basement and wanted to quickly resolve the issue before it worsened, so she decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an initial inspection of the basement, our Design Specialist suggested the use of the WaterGuard and SuperSump Plus systems. 

WaterGuard is a French drain designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. The system then collects water and drains it to the sump pump. Additionally, the SuperSump Plus is an effective and economical sump pump option, engineered to keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even in times of heavy water intrusion. With these two systems in place, Jeanne can rest assured that her home is permanently waterproofed and protected.
