This Cortland, NY, homeowner was looking to add a room to his basement and wanted to address his radon health concerns before tackling the new addition. After a thorough inspection by our System Design Specialist, we suggested the installation of a sub-slab depressurization system. This system will work to pull radon from the home and expel it outside of the home, making the home both healthier and safer, all ready for the new addition to the basement.
In Cortland, NY, high radon levels posed a health risk for this homeowner. We tackled this issue by installing a sub-slab depressurization system. This solution is able to redirect the radon gas and vent it out, away from the home. Radon entry points were then sealed to resist gas entry, using a urethane caulking compound. As a result, the radon levels were safely mitigated. Our work ensures better energy efficiency and peace of mind, supporting our commitment to quality and service excellence.
In Cortland, NY, this homeowner was having issues with a clogged gutter. This caused water to spill over from his defective gutters and begin affecting his basement. To fix this issue, we replaced his existing gutters with our proven no-clog GutterShutter system. To further protect his basement, we installed our CleanSpace wall protection system to help direct water from the walls down to our perimeter FlowGard interior drainage system, which directs the water to our TripleSafe Sump Pump system. To further protect the basement from mold and moisture in the air, we installed the SaniDry dehumidification system, which discharges collected water directly into the TripleSafe Sump Pump. This is demonstrated in the after photo.
