John has been living in his New Berlin, NY home for five years. Over the last year, he has noticed issues with water entering his basement due to cracks in the foundation. Knowing that he wanted to finish the basement in preparation for selling the home, he decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an initial inspection of the property, our Design Specialist suggested a combination of systems to repair the cracks and waterproof John's basement.
First, the impermeable FlexiSpan system will be used to seal the foundation crack. Next, WaterGuard, is a FrenchDrain system that is installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. The system then collects any water that seeps through the foundation walls, and drains it to the sump pump. In turn, the TripleSafe Sump Pump provides the ultimate protection against water intrusion, pumping 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery. Finally, the SaniDry Sedona will be installed to eliminate damp, musty odors by drying and filtering the air. With this combination of systems, John can rest assured that his home is permanently waterproofed and his property value is protected.
In Holland Patent, NY, Richard's concrete pool deck cracked and settled and created tri[ hazards that cost him his peace of mind. Every time friends and family came over to use the pool he would worry about stubbed toes and trips. Learning about PolyLevel after an internet search led Richard to Woodford Brothers. We offered him a free estimate that came with a same-day proposal to eliminate the trip hazards permanently. The work was scheduled with one of our expert installation teams led by Richard. He and his crew made quick work of fixing the pool deck and now Richard is proud of his inground pool knowing that he no longer needs to worry about injuries caused by unlevel concrete slabs.
Cindy has been living in her Holland Patent, NY home for 20 years. Recently, she has become increasingly concerned over the structural integrity of her home as the metal support beams in her garage are significantly rusted. As her bedroom is located above the garage and consequently held up by the beams, Cindy wanted to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and decided to contact Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an initial inspection, our Design Specialist determined that the SmartJack system would be best suited to help repair the damaged beams.
The SmartJack system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists in a crawl space. Once installed, SmartJack support posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. SmartJacks can support loads of more than 60,000 lbs and are made of galvanized steel for corrosion resistance. With the SmartJack system in place, Cindy can have the peace of mind that her home is permanently stabilized.
This entire pad was lifted and leveled using our amazing polylevel process. The homeowner didn't want to lose his beautiful stampcrete but the concrete pad had settled back towards the foundation causing water to puddle right on his foundation. Our crew fixed the problem, now the tripping hazard is gone as well as the water issue.
