Beatrice has lived in her old farmhouse for over 40 years. Property maintenance had been getting more difficult to keep up with. She decided to fix some issues with the basement that she knew might prevent her from getting the full value from her home. The dirt crawlspace that is under part of her home has been a source of moisture, pests and a loss of heat.
After hearing about Woodford Brothers from a friend, she gave us a call. Our Customer Care department set her up with an appointment with our Design Specialist, Bobby. Bobby performed a thorough inspection and came up with a plan to address Beatrice's concerns. When Beatrice decided it was time to address those concerns, Bobby set her up with an installation date with our Crew Foreman, Jason. Jason and his crew hand dug some of the crawlspace to make room. Then laid down some Drainage Matting and CleanSpace to stop moisture and outside air from making it's way into the basement and crawlspace. The crew then installed some rigid foam board insulation into the rim joist cavities to further prevent heat loss.
Now Beatrice can enjoy fresher, drier and warmer air while she still owns the house and have peace of mind that she can maintain her property value and pass on a home with a healthy crawlspace.
