Catherine has been living in her Rodman, NY home for over 11 years. Within the past couple of years, he has been growing increasingly concerned over the structural integrity of the foundation as the stone foundation has been bowing in. Wanting to repair the issue before it led to foundation failure, Catherine decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. Following an inspection of the home our Design Specialist suggest the installation of our SmartJack and EverBrace systems.
The SmartJack system provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to the foundation. Once installed, SmartJack posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. Plus, due to its design, the SmartJack system can be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling if necessary. In turn, with EverBrace, steel corrugated panels and beams work together to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls. Rigid foam is then injected to fill any voids behind the steel panels, fully transferring the load from the failing structure to the new support panels. With these systems in place, Catherine can rest assured that her home's foundation is permanently stabilized and no longer at risk for failure.

Carriage House Restoration in Watertown, NY 13601
Justin & Sarah of Watertown, NY have worked with Woodford Bros., Inc. in the past to repair their foundation. They noticed their carriage house floors sagging and became concerned about the structures stability. Sarah reached back out to Woodford Bros., Inc. for help. After a thorough inspection of the carriage house by our Design Team, a proposal was presented to Justin & Sarah to lift and level the floors.
The major component of Justin & Sarah’s restoration project is the installation of SmartJacks. Each SmartJack helps reduce the slop of floors, and straighten walls and floors. The heavy-duty, threaded rods are designed to lift the floors back to the original position and immediately provides stabilization.

Dave's home in Mannsville, NY had a wet crawl space. Dave knew about the problem but could do anything about it. Why? Because getting into his crawl space was a nightmare. The only way to get inside he had to remove blocks and a vinal board. The board was his only solution to keep the water out. He knew he had to do something about the entrance. Then one day while watching TV Dave saw a Woodford Brothers commercial. He heard about our reputation and thought we might be able to help. David knew instantly he made the right choice. Our expert Design Specialist came up with a plan to waterproof Dave's crawl space and make a new entrance. Our solution is a turtle door. A turtle door lets people in but keeps water and critters out. It's a perfect solution for smaller crawl spaces.

Dix loved his new house in Wellesley Island when he bought it in 2015, but he didn't love his dirty crawlspace. There was debris in there and it was damp. He was concerned that this could lead to further problems with his home and possibly even effect the health of his family's health. Dix also loved the idea of using the crawlspace for extra storage.
The moment he heard about Woodford Brothers and the amazing crawlspace transformations that are possible he gave us call. He set an appointment with us. We sent our design specialist, Rob Leroy, to Dix's home to take a look. Rob decided that it would be best to have our installer, Josh Barber, head out to Wellesley Island to fix the crawlspace for good.
Josh and his crew completely transformed Dix's crawlspace by removing all of the debris from the crawlspace, regrading the dirt floor and by installing our Cleanspace crawlspace encapsulation system to seal out all outside air. By including the amazing Sanidry Sedona crawlspace air system he now has full control of the crawlspace environment. With the addition of a SmartDrain, Dix now has peace of my that he will be alerted if there are ever any pipe leaks in the future and that the water will have a place to go.
Now Dix has peace of mind that he no longer needs to worry about his crawlspace or the air quality in his home, plus he has added additional storage space.
This camp on the lake in Henderson, NY was built in the 1940's by the current owner's Grandfather. The family loved the camp so much that they decided to expand and invest in improvements. Before investing they thought it would be best to make sure the foundation was solid so they called Woodford Brothers. Our Design Specialist performed a through inspection to decide the best way to ensure the house would stand strong for many more generations to come. Our installation crew used a process called ShotLock to stabilize the wall. This is when a rebar grid is built in front of the wall and high pressure hoses are used to spray concrete into the rebar cage to fill all voids and create a new wall in front of the original wall. The concrete is then troweled over to create a smooth wall. Now this family knows the foundation is in good condition and the fun part of adding onto the home can begin.

This camp is Henderson, NY was built in 1955. Since it's current owners purchased the home in 2007, the floors have always sloped significantly. However, they noticed that the problem seemed to be getting worse. They decided they wanted to invest in the camp to make some improvements like new windows, doors, a deck and even possibly add a second story. Luckily, the owners knew that unless they addressed the foundation problems first, the upgrades to the home would be in jeopardy of not lasting and even creating more problems. The home owners had heard of Woodford brothers before and knew that we were the foundation experts so they called us in to see their options. Our Design Specialist made the trip to Henderson to perform a full inspection and provide a same day proposal to fix the problems for good. The Design Specialist performed a series of tests to determine what exactly it was that was causing the issues. He determined that foundation had been slowly settling into the soil. There were places in the block foundation wall that had been filled in with mortar when the cracks and gaps in the block had started to show. Filling the gaps is not a permanent solution when these problems arise. The real problem is the soil that the foundation is resting on. Unless properly addressed, the foundation will continue to sink. We can stabilize and even lift foundations by install piers that will attach to the footer and bore down to load bearing soil or bedrock that is below the top layers of soil. Once rested firmly on the load bearing strata, the condition and load bearing capacity of the soil doesn't matter anymore. The home owners can rest assured that the days of worrying will be gone for good.

Steve, the owner of a ranch with a finished basement in Alexandria Bay, NY, noticed that water would seep under his foundation and into his living space during heavy rain periods. He recognized the importance of waterproofing his basement as a priority while planning his home remodeling project. To address this concern, he reached out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate.

WaterGuard ensures that any water entering the basement is swiftly channeled to the sump pump, which then eliminates the water, preventing flooding and damage. Furthermore, the SaniDry Sedona, recognized as the world's most efficient dehumidifier and air filtration system, effectively removes moisture, and musty odors, and filters the air.

When she noticed a visible leak emerging from the wall, she realized it was time to seek professional assistance. Alexandria reached out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate.
