Dix loved his new house in Wellesley Island when he bought it in 2015, but he didn't love his dirty crawlspace. There was debris in there and it was damp. This camp on the lake in Henderson, NY was built in the 1940's by the current owner's Grandfather. The family loved the camp so much that they decided to expand and invest in improvements. Before investing they thought it would be best to make sure the foundation was solid so they called Woodford Brothers. Our Design Specialist performed a through inspection to decide the best way to ensure the house would stand strong for many more generations to come. Our installation crew used a process called ShotLock to stabilize the wall. This is when a rebar grid is built in front of the wall and high pressure hoses are used to spray concrete into the rebar cage to fill all voids and create a new wall in front of the original wall. The concrete is then troweled over to create a smooth wall. Now this family knows the foundation is in good condition and the fun part of adding onto the home can begin.
