Charles was concerned about the condition of his home. It was built in 1950 and over the years, the walls had become wet and the existing sump pump was not able to handle all of the water that accumulated. The bedrooms above the crawlspace area were uncomfortably cold. He wasn't sure where to turn for help until he saw a TV commercial for Woodford Brothers.

After contacting us, our Customer Care team scheduled an appointment with Design Specialist, Joe, to assess the situation. Joe took the time to listen to Charles' concerns and proposed a solution that would effectively waterproof his basement and encapsulate his crawlspace.

The team, led by Foreman Matt, arrived promptly and got to work right away. They installed Silverglo insulation and TerraBlock insulation, along with Cleanspace in the crawlspace. This would prevent moisture from seeping through and causing any more damage to the walls.

To tackle the issue of the sump pump not being able to handle all of the water, the team installed a SuperSump Plus with a drop-down duct. This effectively controlled the water coming from the crawlspace and prevented it from flooding the basement area.

Lastly, the team installed a Sanidry Sedona to regulate the humidty and maintain good air quality throughout the home.

The EverBrace Wall Restoration System permanently stabilizes the most extreme cases of failing foundation walls.  With EverBrace, steel corrugated panels and beams work together to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls.  Rigid foam is then injected to fill any voids behind the steel panels, fully transferring the load from the failing walls to the new support panels.  Additionally, WaterGuard is a French drain designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing.  The system then collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to the sump pump.  By installing these systems, Corey can have the peace of mind that his home is fully protected and will have a dry, usable space in his basement.
